A walk to remember.

One reason why I love Toledo: The trees. There are trees everywhere & alot of parks.
My friend & I took a stroll/hike yesterday. I havent been there in years. Last time was 2nd grade! Flash backs overwhelmed me as I crossed the wooden swinging bridge. (which was alot more adventurous back then)I looked up through the tall trees and just felt God. I felt thats where im supposed to be.

As for the beautiful scenery, we seen lots of deer. And got to lay eyes upon a baby deer that still.had shakey legs as it ran behind its mother.

Today was very beautiful out. I could not stay inside so I ventured out to Barns and Noble/Starbucks. I found a book by one of my favs *Walter Mosley*. I enjoyed a nice chi latte and a blondie. But more importantly the walk was so soul cleansing. I needed today.

Later on in the eve my friend brang me a sweet mothers day card that made me cry, again soul cleansing.

Beautiful Innocence.

I made a quick trip to one of my favorite places on earth: Toledo Art Museum. There is so much to see & when I get my membership I plan on spending lots more time there. I enjoy spending the day there between the main museum and the glass pavilion. I am even looking into a couple classes to take.

As always, I was so inspired it by it all. I will be back with pen and and paper and let my creativity fly!

I'm just show casing a piece I don't recall ever being there. Its hard to believe I wouldn't notice this. In my defense it was in a new to me area. ( Its been like 4 years!)

I have started working back at Kroger. Sad to say, not back in my favorite coffee shop -Crimson Cup- but I am working in the pharmacy. (Crimson Cup is just a walk down the isle tho!)  I am a rx technician. So far, its alot of fun, challenging because I never worked in this type of environment. Lots of counting. Lots & Lots of counting. I am slowly getting familiar with the computer system... Which is making it so much easier. They had me watch videos & take a quiz on how to use the computer system, but as soon as the quiz was over ( I passed) I was to clueless to what I was actually doing. The hands on training is so much better. After a day, I  was pretty much a pro ( Id like to believe).

The weather is getting warmer here. My allergies have calmed down since NC but im sure sooner or later, they will be back with a vengeance  I watch the tree outside the window start to bloom with yellows and greens and I know its just days before I start sniffling.

In the mean time, Im on the hunt for a place to live. A few could bes but nothing just yet. Keep me in your prayers!
